Innovation Coaching

Innovation Coaching involves 1 hour segments of “Active” teaching.  We know it takes 21 days to break a habit, and realize that “old” habits have to be broken and “new” habits learned for real “change” to take place.  So, don’t panic.  Compass Consulting Team has the tools, knowledge, experience, and talent to help any organization and its people transform themselves into Purple Cows.

Breaking learning into bite size chunks is a great way to enhance the retention (memory) of the learner, and allows the learner to practice their new skills, concepts, and behaviors in a realistic setting, allowing for feedback and critical evaluation of what worked, why, and the consequences.  Each week the learner (team) is meeting with their Purple Cow Coach to discuss and review the previous week’s segment, their action plan, and this week’s training.  Building on each skill and concept as the coaching continues, we can adjust the speed easily based on the learner’s pace and ability to digest and use the new skills.

What’s involved? We will work with you and your organization to implement the Purple Cow Innovation philosophy, tools, techniques, and concepts.  We’ll help you and your team or teams of people develop the skill of “innovation” and practice the critical behaviors for innovation to seed, grow, and harvest.

We’ll support you and your team as they learn the “learning personas”, the “organizing personas”, and the “building personas” which make-up the critical behaviors of an Innovation Team.  We’ll facilitate the process of “going to the edges ” (edgecraft) with you and your team where the 6 Thinking Hats become indispensable to the innovation process of 1.  Initiate and Investigate, 2.  Innovate and Create, 3.  Evaluate and Orchestrate, 4.  Communicate and Sell It!

Coaching Advantage: You’ll be working on YOUR real products/services and processes that need “soft” innovation OR designing and developing “new” products/services and processes that you’ll want to introduce into the marketplace.  It’s real learning in real time!

Web Conference Service

Our Innovation Coaching Packages are designed for web conference synchronous training.   We use iLink support services and the starter kit includes all the additional hardware and tutorials necessary for a seamless coaching session.  Because we believe in Synchronous Coaching, the coaching is in real time with interactive learning taking place.  The participants are always in full view of the coach and the materials are sent ahead of time for the learners to “socially” interact with each other, the coach, and the learning event during the coaching session.  Please contact us for additional information or specific customization needed to make your COACHING package memorable and effective. Please Click here for more information about distance learning and synchronous training.
